blue o two and its affiliates Master Liveaboards, Siren Fleet and The Junk have collectively pledged that all their liveaboards will be free of single-use plastics by the end of 2019.

Plastic straws have already been banned across the fleet of 15 liveaboards.

Celebrating its 15th birthday as a tour operator, blue o two is discounting its liveaboard holidays by 10 to 40%. The big reductions come in parts of the diving world it’s keen to kick-start, the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea.

The 40% is for solo travellers and there is a Buy One, Get One Free offer for buddy-pairs.

GoPro Hero5 action-cam sets are now available to hire on blue o two Red Sea liveaboards (from £60 a week) and blue Voyager in the Maldives (from US $14 a day).

SD cards are not included but can be bought on board – perhaps while you’re buying that water-bottle you forgot to bring!
